About
Tenesha began planning intimate weddings in 2014, building a client base through friends of friends and word of mouth. From 2017–2019, she owned and operated an event and catering company in Richland, Washington, managing a 7,000-square-foot Columbia Riverfront ballroom and leading hundreds of weddings and special events. When Covid-19 brought large gatherings to a halt, the pause created space for clarity, and ultimately, a renewed and refocused vision for Cornflower Creative.
Today, while Cornflower Creative continues to empower small businesses with bold branding through Canva and Squarespace, Tenesha has also returned to her roots: planning and coordinating beautiful events on a boutique scale. With more than a decade of hands-on wedding experience, she now offers full-service day-of wedding and event coordination, giving couples and hosts the rare gift of truly being able to relax. Her approach is warm, detail-obsessed, and deeply experienced, so you can be completely hands-off, trusting that every detail will be handled to your exact specifications.
From caterers to cannabis companies, and from intimate gatherings to creative celebrations, Cornflower Creative ensures you can have your cake and eat it, too.
As of February 2024, we are proud to announce the opening of The Ruby Gallery, a boutique venue and art space that blends Tenesha’s passions: PNW art (with a few favorite out-of-town artists), lovely little events for creative people, and art education for children both young in age and young at heart.
